Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

I am in a small financial firm. We have in use a DM1100, a DI950 w/IDP and two Documatch's, of which one is used daily as well.  We do not use any EXTRA software packages based on the data type we get to process. always a learning curve...  Whos in Atlanta??

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

[ Edited ]

Bob for Forum.jpgHi! My name is Bob Bavolacco, and I am the Gobal Product Manager for the low-end mailing segment at Pitney Bowes. My job involves Product Development and Investment, Strategic Marketing, and Lifecycle Management. I am responsible for the mailstation and mailstation 2 meters, among many other 'things' here at PB.

In February 2010, I will be with Pitney Bowes for 20 years, so you can say I have been 'around the block' here!

I look forward to hearing from everyone on the Forum!

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hi, My name is Joe.  I work in a police department.  We use a DM300/3C00 postage machine and will routinely be sending our e-certified letters.  This forum has already helped me immensely.  Thanks for all the help :smileyhappy:

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Howdy I'm Joe - I must say, with all these PB moderators, administrators and liaisons in here I guess I'd better watch what I say...:smileywink: That "waiting for service call" in the next 2 weeks was just a joke I swear....

Unfortunately I've been working in Corporate Mail Centers for the past 22 years. Currently I'm working for a major oil and gas company in Oklahoma. We use the PB DM1000 Mailing System and the DM900 Inserter with all the bells and whistles on it, except for the coffee maker add-on which I hear is coming soon.

When I'm not licking envelopes I enjoy photography and playing with my 4 Australian Shepherds.

I think I've said too much already so I'll take a hike and check back in later.

Peace to all - Joe

Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF

My  name is Charles.  I am the Mail Services Manager for an Oklahoma state agency.  I have worked with the mail for 40 years, 26 of them here.  I first worked with Pitney Bowes equipment in the early '70s.   I operate a DM1000 with Budget Manager software and I use Arrival software to track our incoming accountables.  I am the only person in this Mail Center and the PB equipment and software helps me to keep up with it.  The forum has been a helpful tool to learn how to make even better use of my equipment.  I have 5 grandchildren.  When it isn't too cold or rainy, I comute to work on a 150cc motor scooter.

Good to finally "meet" you, Charles! Your knowledge is always very helpful in the forum!

I must say, I'm awfully jealous of your motor scooter....that sounds FUN!
