why can't pitney bowes make a postage machine that will let me connect using an internet connection to refill the machine with postage and to do an inspection? my credit card machine is connected to the internet. I do not have a landline phone now just a cell phone, this weekend I need to mail 100 invoices and the postage machine says inspection required. I used to take the postage machine to a freinds house but they now just have a cell phone too. I will yry to put it in my car in the am and take it to the post office to use their phone since the postal inspection is a usps requirement. I know that if I had a pc running windows I would be able to somehow connect the machine for an online inspection and postage refill but I only use Macintosh computers, What are the engineers at PitneyBowes doing all day?

We are looking into the possibility of having pbSmartPostage made to be compatible with MAC. If we do make pbSmartPostage MAC compatible, I will post a response here. Currently, pbSmartPostage will work on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. You can also try running your MAC in parallels. We can't guarantee parallels will help, but you can try it.

Our computer program "PC Meter Connect" lets you connect the Pitney Bowes machine to your computer with a USB Cable. You can then add postage to the Pitney Bowes machine using PC Meter Connect. Here is a link to PC Meter Connect:
