The price of an ink cartridge for my E-707 Personal Post is outrageous. And then if I don't replace it often enough, I have to insert a piece of paper so it can check itself by using ink to print the test pattern. That happens about twice a week thereby forcing the ink supply to be used up faster. These cartridges are supposedly rated for 400 impressions and cost $42.99, or $0.10/impression. And when you tack on the shipping and handling, the costs per impression goes up even more. When you factor in the $17/month rental, it is quickly becoming more cost effective to buy stamps.
And they wonder why I haven't purchased anything from them in over a year. If their prices continue skyrocketing, I doubt I will even be using the Postage Meter much longer.

all of Pitney Bowes supplies have historically been outrageous. an E700 series is very slow and outdated also.
Postage stammps might be better for lower volume mail
