I don't even know.....

....what all my machine (mailstation) does do! I just got it to save me from having to go into the post office to buy stamps! I just use it for basic postage.

Re: I don't even know.....

I am the same way. I have processed our office's mail for several years, but I didn't have a say in the type of postal meter we leased. I have become aware of some of the features by reading the forum. Some messages pertain to features on the same model I use, but I wonder if my company must pay an additional fee to make that feature available for my use. It would certainly help to know what each machine is capable of doing. When I have questions about my meter, it's difficult finding answers on the PB website. Maybe it would be a bit much to ask technologically, but online videos of each mailing system showing demos of the various features would be especially helpful.

Karios -

That is certainly a good idea. We do have videos of most of our systems in the "Products and Services" section of the web site, on the "Product  Demos" tab of each product detail page. However, these may be aimed more at prospective buyers than at current machine users, which I think is what you are suggesting.

What kinds of additions/changes would make these videos more useful to you??

Thanks for you input!

Re: I don't even know.....

Mike,

What I had in mind is a video of each mail system showing the different features specific to that system and the steps for adjusting the settings for those features. The videos would also include troubleshooting for any problems that could potentially arise with the mail system, identifying various machine parts that could be affected. Even if the problem required servicing for the product, diagnosis of the problem would be much quicker, perhpaps expediting the customer service process. As you indicated, the current demos are geared toward prospective buyers - as is the majority of the PB website. It's impossible to do a search to find information on my product without a little box, asking if I would like a sales rep to contact me, popping up.

Thank you for considering my suggestions!
