Smart Postage

This does not work.  It is geared only to signing up new accounts. Not servicing the one you have.

Re: Smart Postage

Unfortnately, it took a long time for someone at pb to understand what I was asking for. But, this is it.  It took me ordering something from Vistaprint to find the proper name and I put it in the basket just in case.  We already have a postage by phone account and a lease on one of their machines.  I called for the next two days til I got someone who knew what I was talking about. This person added the PB Smart Postage to our already existing account and mailed out a welcome kit. I was told because of the lease account we would not be charged a monthly fee. I've set everything up but haven't used it yet.  I take the stamps with me. Just in case I have to mail something on the fly.  It would be a great help if they (PB) would inform their employees of the new services they intend to offer the public and current customers so that it wouldn't take two or more days to get help!

Re: Smart Postage

I don't see how Smart Postage would benefit my office.  We have very low volume mailings and pay less than $17 per quarter to rent a scale.

Thank you.

Re: Smart Postage

All I have to say is that half the time I go to do postage (24/7) and the service is either unavailable or unreliable. This is not acceptable in my standard of doing business. When you have to return later to print postage how is this saving me time. I believe that the previous service of ShipStream Manager was more reliable than this internet based stuff. I have no need to go online while away from home or office to ship a package. OMG I could go to the post office and mail a package quicker than this service. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Customer service also is lacking.

Seriously if there are improvements to be made, then put 24/7 chat service, or a 24/7 phone line. Totally ridiculous that only Monday through Friday is available for help. If you are going to advertise a service that is always available then you need to match the help also! I would not recommend this service to my business partners at this time.
