software update problem

I installed the update this morning now our scale is not working at all.   suggestions?

Thanks so much for the post, sorry for the delay with your answer!!

 

I am assuming that you were doing an Ascent update.  A common issue is that these need to have a hard reset done to reset them.  Simply remove the power cord as well as the data cord for approximately 3 minutes, replug everything and test.  Another thing to check is once the upgrade has been done, go into your Ascent screen, pull open Setup, scroll to Peripherals, in the next screen click the button for "serial", in the list of peripherals check to make sure that your scale is still setup under S1 or S2 and that a scale is assigned to these ports.  If this still continues not to register weight please give us a call at 1.800.522.0020 and we can assisit you further.
