Also after like every command, SmartMailer jumps to the last record in the list and displays only that record at the top of the window, followed by a sea of blank lines.

Hey Scott,

I understand your frustration, I've looked into why this occurs.  Smartmailer is written off off Visual Fox Pro language, and this is unfortunately part of what was written into the program.  The only record you see is the last name in your list, while scrolling up to the top of the list every time is inefficient, for right now is the only option we have with this one.
