I put a letter/package on the scale and get the correct postage. Then when I remove the letter/package to run it through, the postage changes. Help!

Thank you for posting this question.  When you weigh the envelope, leave it on the scale while you choose process through the menu options.  With the envelope on the scale, select the option for Class.  Then if you select 1st Class, the menu should show you the correct prices for Letter, Flat and Parcel.  Once you select that, it should stay locked in the meter until you run the piece of mail.
