My offices' PC Meter Connect software will not detect my postage meter.  I've followed the instructions for the software, the driver installs and my PC can see the meter via USB, but the software refuses to recognize it.  I've done re-installations but nothing works.  This sucks because we no longer have analog lines in my office so I have no way to purchase postage or upgrade my firmware without lugging the machine over to the fax line.  Anyone have any tips?

KAFKAA,

The problems you are facing with this may have to do with the version of software that the meter is at.  We may need to have you upgrade your meter to the latest version.  I have sent you a private message to help you with this.  Could you please click on "Messages" on the upper right hand corner of the screen and then click on "PC Meter Connect"?

Although I updated my DM100i to the latest system software and only just recently purchase PC Connect (v.1.24) it not only doesn't recognize the meter despite my following the intructions, the software installer hangs at the step that indicates plug-in the meter on both my PCs (one running Vista and the other XP). Any thoughts?
