I tried installing a new Ink Tank from pb.com and I get this error. I power cycled multiple times and removed and restalled the Ink Tank and I still get this error. Any help? Thanks!

I'm sorry you're receiving this error message. Please unplug the power cord and plug it back in ensuring the meter is plugged into a direct wall outlet (no power strip). If the message reoccurs, please exchange the ink through our Supply Line at 1-800-243-7824.

I am having the same issue - tried upluggng (from wall) twice. Have also tried 2 brand new ink cartridges. Have been down for 2 days - technician cannot come until next week. Any ideas?

Thank you for your message sarahbro. These are our exact troubleshooting directions for the No Ink Tank detected message on the DM300C - DM500C / G900 series machines:
1. Ensure that machine is not in Seal only mode
The Seal Only Mode is enabled like this. You want to ensure you are not in this mode.
2. Ensure your ink cartridge is not empty. The ink cartridge for these machines is item # 765-9. If this ink cartridge weighs 1.4 oz, it is empty. Note: you may need to unplug the machine for 1 minute and reboot to check this.
3. Clean the Printer Nozzles
4. Remove the Print Head and check the capping status for bent pins. Note: Pins are normally angled downward. If the pins are bent or pushed in, a service call will need to be placed.
First, press the options on the meter:
a. Press the Menu button.
b. If necessary, press the green down arrow button to scroll through the menu screens.
c. Select Maintenance.
d. Select Printer Maintenance.
e. Select Replace Print Head.
Next, remove the ink tank. Squeeze the two gray tabs on either side of the print head. While squeezing, lift and tilt to the right the print head. The print head should come up out of the machine. Pull up and remove the black cap on the new print head (if present). Also remove the protective tape from the bottom. Squeeze the two gray tabs on either side of the new print head and slightly angle the print head while sliding it back into its holder. Push the print head back into place. A click will be heard when it is seated correctly.
Now, if after doing all this, you still get the No Ink Tank Detected error, a service request will need to be placed.

I've tried all of the above mentioned things and still says no ink tank dectected. About the pins, if you run your finger along them should they all be the same? They are kind of uneven, but do not appear bent.

Thank you for the additional question. It's okay if the pins are different lengths or uneven. As long as they are not bent, this is okay. Because you appear to still have the no ink tank detected message even after following all the steps, it would then be best to place a service request.
