Error E0000

I have the mailstation 2 k7mo and it won't let me update, add postage or anything since I changed which usb hub it was plugged into and even if i switch back. it gives
me an error code e0000. anyone know what this is or how i can fix it?

This error occurs when the software does not have direct access to the internet due to the firewall that is blocking the connection while trying to refill for postage. You can try this first:
- Using your web browser, launch your Internet home page
- Click on Tools at the top of the page and select Internet Options
- Select Connections
- Click on the LAN Settings Icon
- Right click on the Mailstation Assistant Icon in the system tray and click on Internet Settings
- In Mailstation Assistant, click on File > Internet Settings

Thank you for these details. Based on the fact that you were able to make a connection at the time of install using the phone line, it should be the case that you can continue to make a connection in that same way. Now, when you connect the meter to your PC via USB, is the phone line still attached to the meter? If so, when you try to make a connection again, are you trying to do so on the meter itself, or through the Mailstation Assistant program?
