My meter is locked up at least once per day since I started using PC Connect.  I have to unplug and restart the meter, and sometimes have to resart the computer as well.  Should the USB cable only be connected when I am going to make a deposit or update my software?

Thank you for your good question.  The PC Meter Connect can be connected all the time, but if it is causing problems when using the meter or your PC, I would recommend that you only connect when updating the software or adding funds.

The only time the meter needs to be connected is when downloading postage or software updates.
