Ancillary Service Endorsements

If we use a ancillary service endorsements for our standard mail, does the endorsement have to be printed on the mail piece or can you use a stamp with the endorsement on the mail piece.

Re: Ancillary Service Endorsements

Hello there!

Thanks so much for the question!

According to the USPS Mailpiece Quality Control program study guide, you can produce permit imprints using a printing press, rubber stamp, mimeograph, or some other method of copying or reproduction.  A permit imprint cannot be individually handdrawn or typewritten onto each piece.   There are rules relative to the font size and placement.... so if you are seeking that information, just let me know!

Kind regards,

Elizabeth

Re: Ancillary Service Endorsements

I checked out the program study guide but I cannot find any reference for the permit imprints, could you give me the chapter or page number.

Thanks

Re: Ancillary Service Endorsements

HI!  Based on the Sept. 2007 MQC Study Guide (the 2009 version has not yet been released), information on Permit Imprints is in module 8, page 6.

You can also find information in the Domestic Mail Manual or the Quick Service Guide, both on Postal Explorer www.pe.usps.gov in section 604.

Kind regards,

Elizabeth

Re: Ancillary Service Endorsements

Good morning to all.  I have a very basic question this morning: I NEED THE ADDRESS FOR SENDING EXPRESS MAIL TO MY PBRA.

THE CURRENT ADDRESS I HAVE IS:

PO BOX 856056

LOUISVILLE KY 40285-6056

I WAS THINKING THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER ADDRESS FOR EXPRESS MAIL.

NEED YOUR HELP. WITH THE CORRECT ADDRESS.

SINCERELY,

RODNEY
