I print individual envelopes for individual letters from my word processing software, and include the barcoding provided thereby.  We don't do any kind of bulk sales mailings.  Will offices which do NOT send out bulk mailings need to use IMB?

Business and organizations that do not prepare discounted mailings, i.e., mailing where the postage is LESS than full-rate, or as you say, "bulk sales mailings" do not need to implement the Intelligent Mail barcode. 

Barcoding is only required when mailers want to take advantage of maximum postage discounts while improving the deliverability of their mailpieces.
