Ask the Expert: Elizabeth Lombard
Please welcome Pitney Bowes' resident expert on Postal Regulations, Elizabeth Lombard. This month, she will help us thread our way through the intricacies of USPS rules, rates, classes, and regulations.
Elizabeth Lombard began her career with Pitney Bowes in 1997. She is the National Postal-Carrier Manager with the Learning and Performance group of Pitney Bowes. Her responsibilities include the development and implementation of the Mailstream Education and Certification Program for the Pitney Bowes sales organization. Additionally, she supports Pitney Bowes marketing, line of business, and engineers as a subject matter expert relative to postal regulations and mailstream applications. She serves as a type of liaison between Pitney Bowes and the National Pricing and Classification Service Center as part of the National Customer Rulings process to support PB internal and external customers.
Elizabeth is the Education Co-chair for the Milwaukee Postal Customer Council, Education chair for the WI Chapter MSMA board, and the Director of Certifications for the Mail Systems Management Association. She is a frequent presenter at postal and MSMA events including the Postal Customer Council, the National Postal Forum and MailCom. Her industry certifications include CMDSM, CMDSS, EMCM, MQC and CMC-Gold.
