Rate Change for N300 scale

I have a N300 scale and have tried to install the new rate change and comes back with Zone 86, Error message.  How can I correct this?

I have tried several times to update going through the same instructions each time.

Re: Rate Change for N300 scale

nbhandyco,

Thank you for your post, and sorry about these problems.  When you have errors 80 - 86 on your scale, this signifies a problem with the PROM (rate card).  What you can do is remove the PROM from the slot in the scale, and blow out this slot with nonflammable canned air.  Also, you can clean the chrome contacts on the PROM by rubbing them with an abrasive material, such as a dollar bill or manilla envelope.

If you continue to have error 80 - 86 on the scale, please let me know.

Thank you,

Jeremy

Re: Rate Change for N300 scale

I cleaned the scale and rub the contacts but I am still getting the 86 error message.  Now what do I do?

Re: Rate Change for N300 scale

Thanks for trying that nbhandyco.  Because that didn't work, what I will need to do is mail you a new PROM.  I have sent you a private message.  On the upper right hand corner of this page, could you please click on "Message" and then click on "PROM."

Thank you,

Jeremy
