2009 USPS Postage Rate Change

We have T1 line and using Linksys PAP2T 2 ports converter to analog line - for fax machines. The last time about a year ago updates was sucesfull. Now - no luck either by Software Updates in mailstation assistant or by PB Contacting - dialing PB call center. Either have Software Update Failed or Unrecognized Carrier.

Please advice.  If I take it to home and from ther try to update software - rates am I going to be able do that?

I'm sorry, the Mailstation is not compatible with T1 lines.  For this reason, I would suggest you use the Mailstation Assistant Program to perform the update.  I see however that you have been unsuccessful in doing this through the program.  Could you take a look at this thread, Answers to your most common questions.  Under Need Directions click on Cannot Update K700 Machine.

In 2008 with tech from PB we were able to aupdate our rates through T1 so I believe there is a way. The same steps I performed as a year ago and at this time no luck. If I take the PB mailstation2 machine to my home and do update is going to work? I have AT&T phone line without DSL.  Regarding using mailassistant software looks like we have the same problems

as in pointed by you the post. I have requested PB to mail to us CD with updates so it should be much easier. I have been fighting for last 2 weeks trying everything ......

Adam,

As long as your ATT phone line at home is analog, that should work fine.  If you would like to explore further the Mailstation Assistant problems you having, could you explain what didn't work for you after following the directions from the other thread (I'm sorry, I don't quite understand from the first post what issue you are having with the program).
